How can I tell if my hardware is 64-bit compatible?
With the latest release of Log Info we have added an option for Processor Architecture to the CPU Information. This looks at the processor to determine if it is x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit). Simply download Log Info, run the Congifuration program (config.exe) and choose to see the Processor Architecture. Then save it and run the Log Info audit program (loginfo.exe) and it will report the information to the log file.
The Processor Architecture does not look at the current installed Windows architecture, it looks at your processor and what it is capable of. If you want to know what architecture your Windows operating system is, you will have to choose the option in Log Info under Windows Information.
