How can I prevent the system from logging data twice?

If you use the COOKIE option you can prevent the client machines from auditing more than once. Just select the Cookie Tab, check the option to use the cookie, and enter in a unique identifier. When LOGINFO.EXE is initially ran, it will check the system (in the specified location) for the existance of the cookie file with the unique ID. If this does not exist, it will audit the computer. If the cookie exists, it will close silently.
